Book love! [30 Nov 2006|06:52am] [ mood | tired ] So, since I can't sleep... You all get to deal with my random posts. ♥ I now make a book recommendation and quick review. I don't like to give spoilers in my reviews, so that's what makes them quick. (Apologies to those few who have already dealt with me rambling about this book) Twilight by Stephenie Meyer This book has seriously become an obsession of my life over the past month. I was hesitant to buy it at first since it's considered a young adult novel. Normally those don't appeal to me unless that have some sort of fantasy twist or someone has recommended them to me. This one I decided to pick up anyhow. And I'm so glad I did! It sounded cheesy at first...vampires...love...cliche. I was pleasantly surprised! Stephenie Meyer is a wonderful writer! Her style is very intoxicating and grabs you in. She uses twists that you don't understand until chapters later when everything suddenly falls together and leaves you rather taken aback. I started reading the book one night at about 11pm, then finished it at 6pm the next day (and it's 500 pages). I pouted, then found out there was a sequel! And...ran right out to Borders within an hour and bought it, New Moon. Because of this story, several of us began a group called 'TEMPTATION ~ The Edward Cullen Fan Club'. Addiction. Mmmm. Buy it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Also, I made another journal. I couldn't bring myself to remove the Dark theme on this one (duh?) or my SCA theme on downthefoxhole. So... twilight_desire may be used for Twilight ramblings or various other things. The fanfic I've been working on will probably be posted on there at some point, as well. /End 5 comments|post comment
